Default Kawasaki prairie 360 cuts off

I just bought a used Kawasaki prairie 360 that had just had a brand new carb installed. It cranks up an runs fine for about a minute then shuts off like the key was turned off and won't crank again for a couple if hours. It will run wide open again for about a minute and then shut off again. Any suggestions where to start? I took the tank off, cleaned it out and installed a new petcock. The old one was very corroded and the filters were gone.

It will turn over but Makes no attempt to start. After it sits for a while it will crank right up. Then it runs for about a minute and goes dead again. When it quits it is very quick like the fuel was shut off completely or the key was switched off.

I suspect your fuel line is clogged somewhere and its just running off the carb bowl fuel for a minute. then it slowly fills up again after a while.

I replaced the tank Petcock and the fuel line to the carb. Do you think it could be clogged inside the carb?

it could be, especially where the float valve is. its pretty narrow there.

Default Did you ever fix this????

Actually have the exact same issue and was wondering if you ever fix this if so can you please either text me or email me 252-314-4140 I just took the carburetor out and cleaned it even took each one of the screws out and clean there too there was a little bit of water in there but not much even pulled the needle out and cleaned it as well the only thing I think it could be is the line or the petcock itself although it is getting gas through there
