bayou tires

Hi guys, I have a 2000 bayou 300 4x4.
It takes this size tires.
24x8x11 front, 24x10x11 rear.
I can get two 24x9x11 tires (Maxxis)
Will they work on the front, or be too wide
for front. Would still run 24x10x11 in rear
will this work? Quad is constant 4 wheel drive.
Thanks guys

Yes they should be OK. Steering may be heavier though this is not always the case. There is a slight posibility of the tyres catching the plastic under the wheel arch on full lock, check how much clearance your existing tyres have. Most people go for either widening at the rear first or widening on both front and rear at the same time.

Thanks Merryman,
I'm going to keep the 10" in the rear.
Got a great deal on the 9" ( Maxxis)
So the quad will have 9" front and 10" in rear

I put on front Maxxis Zillas 26x9-12 and rear 26x11-12 on my 350 Grizzly/Bruin and nothing came close to rubbing.
You only going a 1/2" towards the ATV the other 1/2" is on the outside.

You should be fine. It probably will make it a little harder to steer but the heavier weight of these tires probably is as much of a factor as the increased width. The added weight will eat up a little power as well but shouldn't be too noticeable. It should give you a little more traction though as wider tires give you a greater contact area so wider is not always a bad thing.
