Find out if it is front or rear brakes that are sticking. The pivot cam in the backplate sometimes sticks on rear brakes, Hondas and Suzukis seem worse than Kawasakis for this but...
On front disc brakes, the sliders that the caliper move on can often stick, freeing them off is difficult, I usually remove pads and knock the caliper backwards and forwards along it's sliders until it frees, or at least can be removed, de-rusted and greased. The most difficult is a sticky piston. When you fit new pads, you shove the piston back in, and the part that hasn't been against the seals for ages is now being gripped by them. I had a plastic dust cover recently catch fire due to a sticky piston, after fitting new pads, so now make sure the piston can slide easily in the caliper.
