Greetings. I have a 2000ish 200 no crank. Put in the battery from my other 220. Good voltage from + battery to handlebars so good ground. Headlights work. Fuse at solenoid is good. 12v at one side of solenoid but won’t crank. Jumping solenoid nothing. Lights don’t dim when trying to crank. There are 3 wires going into the top of the solenoid. White black, and black with yellow tracer. Looks like there might have been a wire in the 4th hole but not sure. Can someone help me get this thing to crank? There is a red wire in the harness coming back towards the solenoid with power on it. Thanks for any help.

 

Update. Solenoid is clicking but no crank. Headlights dim when you hit the start button.

 

I have 12v to the starter at crank. Anyone have a fix to free a stuck starter. Sprayed some ether in it and pulled the cord and it hit. I’m so close.

 

Take the starter motor apart and see what is wrong with it. Don't think I have done a 200 but on other KLF models, getting the starter back in can be a right pain, as the shaft has to engage in a sprocket floating about in the alternator case. Had to lay the bike on it's side to do the last one, as the sprocket wasn't in the right place for the shaft to catch it when the bike was upright.
