I haven't had any problems yet. I did however order one up ahead of time just in case. (~$20)

Yes, mine is in the shop right now because of the choke cable.
What's the problem?
The problem is one or both of the choke plungers in the carb do not fully retract after the choke is applied. The result of this is the engine will run rich, foul plugs, become hard to start when warm, etc.
I told my dealer a week after I picked mine up (Early May) that it was running rich on the bottom and mid range. He asked me to keep riding it for a while just to see if it was bad gas or lack of brake in. I did this and it only got worse, but it was still ride-able (and still meaner than most), I then asked my dealer to tell me when he as caught up so I could bring it in and have it looked at right away. I brought it in two weeks ago and the choke cables are now on back order until late next month. This is one of the best times of the year to ride in Illinois and I don't have an ATV. I called customer service at Kawasaki ready to really lay into someone but, the lady who answered the phone was pleasant and she had an answer. There is an alternate part that IS available, my dealer didn't even know about it. The OEM part number is 54017-1219 the alternate replacement part number is: 54017-1216. We'll see though, I may still get to chew someone's backside!
Good Luck, All
