I'm back.
I went up with stalk needle in just to see whats up.
didn't have enough test time, I'll get back with you on this
250sx, fourtrax 300, 300 bayou, 600 grizz, shifted in to first, pulled the lever up a little, about 2500rpm's, dropped the shiftlever, and smoke um all, mybe five to six bike lengths, it was to easy!
Now my bike is not stalk, and I had some 112 racing fuel.
I looked at the 300 bayou, Oh this is not the same motor, very difrent, Four valves, a verticle cylinder, and just plain ole doesn't look the same.
oh yes, GPS readings 58mph, but don't flatter your self, climbed to 45 quick and took the rest of the day to get to 58, did it six times.

I dont know what motor you have on your lakota but the one my good friend had used a DOHC 2 valve air cooled motor, which seemed to have been pulled directly from the bayou 300. If you got it used, did you check to make sure it wasnt some custom motor that the guy threw into the bike.
