After Market Mufflers for 650's
#2
OldmanWheeler,
I put on the Pro Circuit 2 weeks ago. If you like loud you'll enjoy this exhaust system. I believe there are 3 different adapters you can place on the end to adjust the sound.
I personally love it. It made my 10 month old son cry though. Like I said "Loud". It has pretty much added to every bit of my 650's performance. I can hang in there with a Raptor. Top end is now between 70-75 mph. It also has quicker acceleration. Low end is better too. I have yet to put the 27" Outlaws back on to give it a try in the mud but I have no doubts it will have some impact. Price was $495.00 plus shipping. You get both front and rear headers. The whole thing is stainless steel. It sounds a little like a Harley now.

Is anyone going to make a dual set up? It looks like it could easily be done. With the right mufflers you could cut the stock muffler from the rear pipe and mount two stacked on top of each other. I think a true dual system would really sound good on there.

Forrest, What end cap of the three are you using? I would like to try this setup but I'm a little skeptical of the extra noise. Does the most restrictive cap make it that much quieter? Did you have to rejet? Thanks.
ps. Thanks for the info on the oil, Jeffoxsr

Long time no hear mind you I changed my E-mail address and I didn't reply back to you. You were working on a pipe for the 650 and I was interested but you were in development stage at the time. I am in Alberta Canada and my dealer doesn't now about any pipes comming on the market especially with affiliates in Alberta. Does your pipe comewith the proper jets for the pipe and will the jets work for 3500ft. above sealevel. I guess the price is also a concern especially the difference with the monitary exchange the way it is. I have been looking for you to come back on the forum so I might reach you again. Also do you have the horsepower rating with the new pipe thanks and talk to you soon.

Hi alltoys nice to chat with you again. Since there are many good pipes on the market for the Praire 650 I decided to pursue other projects, I dynoed the Pro circuit pipe and it puts out good usable horse power and torque, The fit is very good with no leaks or rattles. Without the quiet insert it is just to loud period, and there is a loss of torque below 4000 rpms without it also. I am waiting for the supertrap ids to be released and will check fit and horsepower figures from it and let you know.
