Ok I just want to know if it is just me, or, do the majority of people out there think that the Prairie Line would look Better with Black racks/wheels/bumpers(like the original) instead of the gold. I am going to buy a 4X4 this spring, more than likely one of the two new Prairies, but I can't decide between Green (which I like better especially for hunting) or Red which atleast on the 650 doesn't have the gold accent color. So I am taking a survey to see what the connection members think. Do you all think Kawasaki should use Black? Or stick with the Gold?

Like you, I will be purchasing a new 2002 Kawasaki Prairie this spring. I may actually wait until the 2003 models come out. I like the green with the gold racks. I rode one for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. It was my first automatic that I have ever ridden and it had allot of pickup.

You're not alone on this one. I don't care for the gold. Maybe it's because the old Yamaha Kodaiks have gold wheels, and I hate Kodiaks. I really like the red one with the silver, it looks really sharp! It seems though that the people who like the green ones, also like the gold on them. Everyone has opinions, and that is mine.

My thought's exactly. I was looking to see how much trouble it was going to be to paint every gold piece black. But decided to wait on the 2003's , maybe they'll offer other colors.
