Have a little squeal in my belt on the 650
simple little belt replacement thats all it
should have been... took the dealer a week the
first time all they did was tighten the belt
when I loaded it back on the trailer it still
made the noise off the trailer it came mechanic
standing right there says it needs a belt no s--t
after two more days i get it back mechanic loads it
and says doesn't make any squeal now.I take it home
began to check it out for myself turn on the key now
my 4 wheel drive light switches back and forth 2wd
to 4wd constantly and it has a loud knocking coming from the
belt area near the servo switch. Owner manual says malfunction
in the 4 wheel drive or EBC. I think kawasaki needs to train
people how to repair 650's are these going to be a nightmare to
to have fixed properly?????

 

I know its not a 650.But i took my mojave to the dealer a while back for some work(cams,cam chain,rings,valve seals)i took it in it dident smoke a bit got it back ,it smoked really bad[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]so they said it would go away in a few tanks of gas.4 tanks of gas later it still smoking just as bad .so they told me to bring ti in,because itwas under warrnty.took it in ,1/12 mounths later i get it back with a bill for 200$.and it still smokes alittle[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]:

 

I won't let my dealer touch my 650. I will buy a shop manual and fix it correctly.
