I finally had the opportunity to use my plow today. It was used to clean some ground in the woods that boarder our yard and it worked surprisingly well.

This is the first plow I've had that didn't trip easily. The actuator switch works pretty well, even with gloves on. I don't understand why Warn didn't put a sensor of some type on to stop it in the full up or full down position.

I have the pully mounted on the top rail of the front bumper. It origninally came on the bottom rail, but it seemed that it left too much slack cable. The only probem now is figuring out what I'm going to do to protect the bottom rail from the cable. I have a few ideas in mind and I'll post the one I actuall use.

Overall, I'm very happy with the plow and the Prairie. My Prarie is bone stock and I didn't have any issues with the front springs, tires, or power. The darn thing knows how to suck down gas though!

If you'd like to see the plow, there are a few pics of my 650 here:

I've been using my 650 for a tractor since spring has started, I've been making a natural area below my house. I have been using it to pull trees up to the brush pile and pulling small stumps out of the ground. This thing still surprises me every time I pull a big tree up the hill. doing this kind of work with it I'm getting about 25miles to a tank of gas, but there is a lot of idling time while I'm hooking and unhooking the trees up.
