Why Can't You Use The Dyno Jet Kit For V-Force
 

Why Can't you use the Dynojet kit for a 03 praire on a V-Force if they have the same carbs. I'am putting on the hmf dual exhaust, and I want to drill some hole in the air box lid and put a piece of hose on the air box till I get a diamond g snorkle but I don't think the jets that come with the pipe will be big enough will larger dynojets fit and is the needle not the same. Hmf said to put a washer on the needle for there pipe so I could probably use a bigger washer. Am I totaly wrong? Thanx

dyno jet kits are specifically tuned for each model. The needle angles would be different the instructions on jet sizing would be completely wrong and so forth. Just go to your dealer and by some bigger jets. You shouldnt have to shim the needle any more with the snorkle mods.

I did what HMF sugested .... and it worked very well.

I did add more fuel ... using the dial-a-jet .... and then more air ... it it runs very well.

I am not feeling any need to take the carbs apart to change the needles .... it is very
smooth through the whole power band as is.....
