2002 Kasea KS150 Help Please!
Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and owning an ATV. Just bought a used atv for my kids and I cant seam to find any information about this 2002 Kasea KS150 atv online. I know it is a four stroke and has a CV transmission with reverse. I want to change the oil in it and I dont know what kind of oil I should use and if it has a filter ect (I am mechanically inclined just want the right information). It doesn't have an owners manual so if someone could help me out or point me in the right direction would be great. Also is there parts available for this thing? It seems that the company no longer exists but I see allot of stuff about the 150 Skyhawk which Is not the same as this one. Any help would be appreciated!

Just googled it and it has a GY6 engine, this was, and is, fitted to dozens of different makes of Quad and buggy. I use 10/40 semi synthetic in them. Gearbox oil is a bit more tricky as they tend to have fragile forward reverse boxes. I think the last one I did had engine oil in the gearbox.. This is a service manual for the scooter, so no gearbox, but otherwise will be similar https://www.scribd.com/doc/44879437/GY6-Service-Manual

The gearbox will have been designed by Kasea, or whoever they bought the engine unit from, so they will have specified the oil. Unless you can find a Kasea 150 handbook you will have to leave the gearbox oil alone or guess. Gear oil smells different, so you can usually tell if it has gear oil in it, and EP90 would probably be right for it if it has gear oil in it. If it doesn't smell like gear oil, engine oil of similar thickness to the engine SAE10/40 wouldn't be far off, but my advice is leave the gear oil alone, unless badly discoloured.
