01 LT-A50 will start but won't run
 

My son's lt50 won't run. The last time it was ridden was about a month ago and it ran fine. It's garage kept. Today we took it out and it would start but when you got on it and gave it gas it would roll about 10 feet or so and die like it wasn't getting gas. It was warmed up so it wasn't quitting because it was cold. Any ideas why it's not running? Tomorrow I am going to check the carb for any blockage. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like your onto the usual cause , clean out your main jet and air corrector tube should do the trick . posibly your petrol has got to old and needs drained and replaced.
