Yes, it would be kinda cool to put all the mini-quads on a straight drag strip - side by side, in their "pure stock" form, have them tuned by the same experienced mechanic, then let them rip.....
Take those same quads, put them through massive "repeated jumps", then in the deep mud & water, then over the sharp rocks, then into sharp corners, then on the sand, then in the snow, etc. etc. Bet each brand will have dramatic difference in ratings within each unique riding condition.
Then, ask each kid to rate them. Some mini-quads are great to ride but they are "#$^%#$%^" ugly. What good is a quad if the kid thinks its too ugly to ride with their other friends. For example: The Hummer is rated the best "pure stock" 4x4 vehicle. Try driving that thing while zig zagging through skinny trees or pure speed on the straight drag strip.
To me, a mini-quad is much like any tool. I don't try to cut wire will my need nose pliers and I don't try to use by vise-grips as a screw driver. Each quad is the same but unique in its own way. Thus, each quad has the best rating within its own unique riding conditions.
To me, I don't care about speed. For myself and my son, we care about being safe, ease of riding and does he like it. Import, GM, Ford, or Hummer???? On our trails, it doesn't matter who's riding what. It's the smile on each of our kids faces that really matters the most....
Something to think about.....

I guess I wanted to know which one is fastest for a couple of reasons. First off because we ride alot in the sand and sand robb's your horsepower so I want as much as possible. Second My 8 yr old want's to try racing and wanted the most power before we do any hop ups. Thanks

Stock vrs Stock on a straight drag race, I too would say on the LT-80. OTD, these things move off the line... On steap corners they tend to tip easy (easier then others) and on repeated large jumps, they tend to break cases. I've heard the LT80 starters are expensive, the engine is sometimes hard to work on but if all you are looking for is straight smooth ground speed, LT80 is the stock to beat.
