could someone eiether post or pm me lt80's pic of his chain roller. i have been waiting to see it and have yet to see it or is there a generic one i can buy and just screw into the extra hole on the side or do i have to drill and tap a new one. about to gear up and having problems. i want to put a 12 in the front but the new chain was either to long or to short?help me out

fishslab, the picture is there. Question, cant tell from the picture, does it have a spring? The one we run on our lt was made by a fellow race dad, it has a spring, a smaller roller, and bolts in to the hole already there no drilling new ones. Ours doesnt put that much pressure on the chain until it reved.

yfz450bb07, you will have to get a chain that is to long and make it fit.

It is not a tensioner, only a roller. Jack just used a roller skate wheel. I have ordered a tensioner from Polaris off of the Predator 90 to see if I can retrofit it to the LT80. It's $27 for all the parts. If it works I'll post the pics.

I did mine in the exact same place except I went under the chain instead of over it. Works great either way!

I'm wanting to change our front sprocket as well, but to run the roller, do I have to disgard the cover over the chain? Will lager rear sprockets fit without having to alter anything like the cover? And where do you guys buy sprockets for these? My local parts place gives me crazy looks when I mention some of this stuff for the LT.

On my pics page I have a photo of LT80's roller and my roller. I use the chain gaurd with my set up. I did trim the bottom of the cover to accomodate the roller. I was going to use a tensioner off of a Predator 90. I used that on my E-ton instead since the roller setup is working great. I'm not sure on the sprockets clearing the cover, but I think they should.

Sprocket specialist makes an unbelievable amount of sprockets for the little LT. You can get from 10-15 or so for the front and 25- to almost 70 in the rear.
