Sprocket combos - LT80
 

What combanations are available and where can I get them? I know some run 15 tooth fronts, some use stock 10, and others run 12's. But is there any certain combo that works better than others? Right now our LT is geared stock (10/22?) It is wound tight very fast under normal trail riding. Any sujestions? (Please list any mods that have to be done to run, I.E. chain rollers, etc...)

The guy w/the 15 sprocket ran it cuz he didn't have any chain tightening method at the track (hope I worded that right) I'd go up 1 tooth in the front.
You may consider changing to #428 sprockets instead of the #520 you have now. I use #40 chain on the #428 sprockets. The #40 has 1/2 links available to help with the adjustment.
As far as adjustment, see the "chain roller" thread from a few days ago. It has a pic. hehe, thats a roller skate wheel, but usually a regular chain roller from a parts shop is used. I ran the begeezus out of that roller skate wheel tho [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
FYI: if you go with the #428, you will need 12/13/14 front and a 26 rear (12/26 -428 being the equivelent to your 10/22- 520). That will cover most anything you will do.
