viper 50 won't pull a hill
 

I got a 2003 v 50 for my boy for xmas the green wire is cut and he has plenty of throttle. The quad whould pull the same hill with the limiter on. It has been loseing pull gradually. could this be the clutch or maybe the belt?

Ok folks took it to the dealer. The mec. said a couple of probs. 1 had a carb full of water and water in the gas tank. This was more than likely caused by condensation. My shed is not heated and we had a bunch of days where it was 70 during the day and 20 at nite. Since the viper has a plastic gas tank and I store his fuel in a plastic can presto water. 2 the fuel air screw had vibrated and leaned it out too much. 3 The mec said I should run mid grade gas or high test he said todays 2 stroke engines need the higher octane
