How to increase the power output of Suzuki LT80 to the maximum possible, without adding any type of kit to it?

Please, say it in a very simple way, what to look for, and where that thing is exactly located in the LT80, and what exactly to do to that thing.

There isn't a quad made that you can point to one thing and expect great HP gains.Especially a LT80!
What kit are you refering to and what's wrong with that?
It's not the one thing you do th the LT80 it's the everything that you do to a LT80. Porting don't work withoput clutch mods. Clutch mods are useless without porting to make them work. Thus the kit (at least that's what I call it).
Example::you can get a pipe for 1/3 the cost of a kit. You can get a carb for 1/3 the price of the kit. Your still going slow and 2/3 of the money has been wasted. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I think he might be referring to the restrictors?? hard to tell when it's described as..."that thing".

there are 2 factory restrictions, which are sometimes already removed by the dealer or previous owner(s). these are both described in your owner's manual. there is one exhaust and one carb restrictor. the exhaust one is located between the area where your exhaust pipe bolts onto the cylinder. remove 2 bolts. there is a washer with a small hole in it, restricting the amount of exhaust that can get past, works like an exhaust brake on a semi almost. Do NOT confuse the wide metal washer between the pipe and cylinder, this is your gasket, and it has a big hole, the same diameter as the pipe and exhaust port.

the second one is on top of the carburator. It's a small ring, just underneath the throttle valve (the piston thing that slides up and down when you push the thumb throttle). you unscrew the top part of the carb, and the ring is inside between the throttle valve and the top part you unscrewed. pay careful attention to the small parts when you remove the throttle cable, which way they are positioned, and how they are facing, for re-assembly. this restrictor limits the amount of travel for the throttle valve.

there is also a thumb throttle restrictor on the right handlebar. It's a screw the blocks how far the thumb throttle can be pushed.letting the screw out more allows more speed.
