Lt 80 won't start !!!!!!!!
 

All i get is the relay clicking.I have a new battery and a new starter.I also disconnected the safety switch at the foot brake.If i remove the relay and jump across the motor spins over fine.And i tried a new relay,the old one and the new one are doing the same thing.Any help would be appreciated.

Well I don't know if it will help, but ours did the same thing. I finially found that the wire going to the safty switch had a short in it. I unhooked it from under the hood and made a jumper there. It fixed our problem. Ours was pinched at the piviot at the front of the motor. (like to drove me crazy!!!)

wierd, cuz if you jumped wires without the relay and it started, then it would seem to me it must be the relay. is your fuse blown? ground clean and tight?

Maybe the relay that was replaced is defective.

Just to let everyone know.I found my problem,my brand new battery had a dead cell.It would read 12.4 volts but when you hit the button it would drop to about 3volts.I am getting another battery today.
