opinions on the kfx700
My daughter is 4 and I bought her a 50 predator that she loves and will not get off of. She has no problems riding it, actually impressed by how fast she learned and am wondering what ages other people have thier kids start riding. I am not here to argue with the age limits on the machines as everyone has thier own opinion. Just want to see what age other kids start to ride.

My son drives an '03 Predator 90. He was 8 years and 3 months old before he was allowed to start driving a mini. My son will be 10 next month. Wow time flies by quickly. If wondering, my son is 120 lbs and with full safety gear, he's around 130 lbs. Putting him on a 70cc is like watching a clown at the circus. In our family, 8+ is our minium age limit for driving. The 90cc is the proper body fit for him.

My boy got an electric one at three and quickly laid waste to it. He got a trx70 and a PW80 at six, a kx65 at eight. When he was close to nine we sold the trx and the kx and got him a Viper90.We have a friend that has a boy that was four when he got a pred90 but he's still riding with the limiter cause he's to small still. The main thing is the safety gear and the child knowing how important it is to wear it.I went to streetbikeworld.com, they have a picture section that includes wrecks on street bikes, very graffic pics, since my son was nine I felt it would be ok for him to look at some. Just trying to give him a idea of what speed can do.

My son started at 5. This was my wife's rule. But after the first hour, she said I wished he started at 4 like you said. He had his first XC race 3 days later and finished 2nd.It is all up to the ability of the child. All kids are different. Michael is 6 now and he has beaten many boys twice his age on 90's on his fifty. We will be building him a modded 90 this winter for next year.

I started on a JR50 in 1982 when i was 5 wasnt very long maybe a year and i was riding an 80. so it is all kid dependant i think as parents your entitled to judge your childa abilities and make the safest choice for them when to start

My kids started out on a jr 50 w/training wheels at 3 1/2 and 2 1/2. We bought their first quad at ages 5 and 6, but I only let them get the quad after learning to ride a motorcycle first(that was before though when I was a dirt bike guy and thought that quads sucked) I think it is good for them to learn balance on a bike but thats just my .03 cents worth. Now all we own is Quads.
