Tire/Wheel set up for KFX 50
I see that many of th emini quads have tall thin fronts and smaller wider rears...Not much of a selction for the LT50/KFX50 bolt pattern
Here is what I was thinking of ordering today.... Look at this quad mini tire article too
http://www.off-road.com/atv/kidskorner/suspension4.html
19x7x8 Front on Douglas 8 x6 rims 3/3 offset Wanted a 2/4 to be able flip the rims for a wider stance...not available for LT50 !!!
16-6.5-8 Front 8X6 rims 3/3 (actually tire height is closer to 14")
This should provide that taller front end and smaller tire in the back.....It seems to be a popular set up
Would I be better off with 5" front rims? The offset is 2/3, so would I lose an inch in width? I bet I could flip the rims to lose the inside inch??? They are Douglas wheels...
Any input would be appreciated....Looking to place my order today for delivery by friday.....Big race this weekend.....Should be fun to see how his new CT Racing kit lets him compete
Thank you
