Komoto ATV's - burst my bubble
 

OK. Going to pull the trigger and buy 2 Komoto ATV's on Monday. A 150 and a 200 for my daughter and son. I read on a ton on this site and others and "seems" like there's not a ton of bad PR about them.

Does anyone and have any final warnings before I place the order...

BTW. I know about all the standard stuff. stiff ride. loose bolts, blah blah.

You dont hear much about Komoto because not many people buy them. No one to get service or parts. They are all over ebay. Raceway atv has the same atv' s under a different name. I highly recommend raceway if you want ANY support after the sale. Most internet sales says they have parts in stock but they dont. They order parts from the manufacturer and send them direct to you. Raceway has parts, great service and a good price. Free shipping also. He gets them to you in about 5-7 days. Dont go with a company that is not known.

I disagree! The komoto 150cc atv is identical to the yamoto 150cc.In 05 the Komoto switched to reverse,double A-Arm's and the manual choke-Just like Yamoto.And as for parts,I have bought part's from Philip,they have had the parts,and were good to work with.

Not sure what you disagree about? I know that Komoto is the same but are not widley known like Yamoto.

What drew me to the Komoto was the fact that it was very similar to the Yamoto. I thought that was a good thing.
