how can i make my 06 trx90 faster
How can i make my 2006 trx 90 faster with out adding anything on to the engine? (like exhaust,revlimiter,airfilter ect.)
I just bought it and i dont want to spend any more money till later.
I heard about cuttin apink wire on the engine but im not sure how to go about doing that.

As a suggestion, give Rob at call. I hear he makes a mean TRX-90 racing machine. His details are:

As a suggestion, do ask him about cutting the pink wire on the factory CDI. If anyone would know, he definately would.

how can i make my 06 trx90 faster
locate the main wiring harness coming out of the engine, simply snip the pink wire, it is a 4th gear speed resrtictor. get a free flowing air cleaner, k&n/no-toil/etc... check your jetting.
depending on what you ride re-gear. real in-expensive hop-up is to run a thinner head-gasket for more compression.

Thanks for the help and I will try it! I got a big gun exhaust system and a k&n air filter for it so will it go even faster if I cut the pink wire or will it still top out at the same speed? And would a Rev limiter make it go faster to or is that the same as cutting the wire? Thanks!
