cpr for a drowned kazuma falcon 110cc...???
kids and i were out riding today and my boy rode the kazuma into what appeared to be a large puddle, but turned out to be a small pond...
the slope was quite steep and the front two wheels were completely underwater before he knew what happened, while the rear axle was just above the water. although the air box was pretty dry, the spark plug and wire and carb looked completely submerged. he simultaneously hit the brakes, the kill switch and yelled 'daaaaaaaaaaad!!!!'
after i pulled him out, much to my surprise the machine started on the first try. we rode maybe another five mins. and stopped for a break, turning off the kazuma. after the break, he got nothing except the sound of the starter motor turning over, definitely no spark though.
any thoughts before i take it into the local independent shop?????

I would not take it in just yet. Undo all the connectors that you think went under water, drain the oil and replace. Blow out connectors and you may even want to let it sit for a few days to let dry. The connectors are not water proof at all. If you ever get it running get some electrical connector sealer or even dielectric grease and seal every connector that you can find.
