JUST A LITTLE SAFETY NOTE GIOVANNI, AND OTHERS MAYBE
A neighbour down down the street told me the other day his nephew(6) broke his arm riding a quad. I guess he ran over a tree root and lost his grip with one hand. He reached out to grab something and that was the throttle cable sticking up between the handle bars. The bike took off at full throttle until he rolled it. My son has lost his grip too but grabbed the center bar on the handle bars.Never thought anything of it until i heard this.
I went out and started the bike and pulled on the throttle cable. It went to full throttle. When you pull the cable it comes out of the adjustment nuts. 1 out of 10 times when pulled it went back in the nuts, 9 times it got stuck on full throttle.Kinda hard to explain, but try it.
A remote kill switch should fix that problem. Any other ideas from anyone else?????
