Need help brakes don't work

Need some help.... Just got a new 50 cc for my boy. The brakes were a little stiff and ever since we used the parking brake the brakes don't work at all. First the pads were locked to the brake. Then we let the pressure out and ever since then ..Nothing. Any ideas would be great!!!!

How did you let the pressure out> If you opened the break line to do it and got air in the line they won't work. Oil won't compress air will.

We basically bled them. we opened the end where you bleed the brakes. Not the actual oil line.

Yes but there is a special way to bleed the brakes and if you do not do exactly this way it will not work and you will get air in teh line. You have to compress the handle then open the bleeder, close the bleeder till no more air and fluid comes out, pump the handle again and repeat till you get just fluid out. It will take 4-5 times of opening the bleeder.

That's what we did. We took the line off the master cylinder reservoir to see if we could get any pressure to build up ( my husband) by closing the opening to the brake line but there was no pressure building up when you held the brake. We will try to bleed it yet again who knows maybe 3rd time a charm.... Any ideas if this doesn't work "again"? My husband is pretty sure that he bled it good.

Well. we bled and we bled and we bled and still nothing. We are going to assume that it might be the master cylinder. When we bled the line we were only getting drops out at a time. We used almost a whole bottle of brake fluid. Thanks for everytone's help.
