UPDATE-

Well, I finally got it started. I tinkered with the idle and mixture screws and drained the carb by taking off the bottom bolt. Started up pretty quick, and ran on idle for about 30 minutes. I will now use the "adjusting the carb" thread and get it to idle at the right speed. Also I wnet ahead and put a new plug in, the old factory one already looked pretty bad. Thanks for all the help.


My only concern now is after it had run for about five minutes, I began to see a bit of smoke drifting from the engine (not the exhaust). I did drip quite a bit of gas on the engine draining the carb, and it may have just still been breaking in. Anybody have any thoughts on this smoke?

 

I would venture to say it is just a coating of oil on it from the factory burning off. My Suzuki smelled prettty bad till it burnt the factory crap off of it.
