E-Ton Rascal 40cc not starting - no fuel?
#1
Please have some patience and mercy for a mechanical noob.
I bought a used E-Ton Rascal 40cc that has worked fine for a few months until a fuel hose from the tank to the petcock started leaking. I finally replaced the hose and now the ATV won't start.
I don't know much about carbs (aside from the ones you eat) but I am guessing there is no fuel in the carb and that's why it won't start.
So, what should I do? Any advice is appreciated.

Pull the hose off the carb and turn on the petcock.See it gas flows freely.Use a small container to catch it.If it does at least you know gas is getting to the carb.If you made the new line longer and it has more bends in it,it might not be gravitty feeding properly,or possibly kinked..It could also be possible that there was a peice of dirt or a shredd of rubber in your new line.If so,the carb will need cleaned out,and will have to come off to do so.Do the process of elimination first.
