2004 eton 90 viper won't move
The bikes starts, idles fine, when drive line has no pressure (like on the block) it runs fine. As soon as you put pressure on the drive line it bogs out, but keeps running. It will not move. I've replaced carb, reeds, exhaust system, piston and rings, stator plate, key switch, and all the bearings in the final drive shaft. Also, the Eton dealer cannot figure it out. Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem?

It does sound like it could be a clutch issue. If the torsion spring has taken a dump on you that is pretty much the effect. Also if your rollers are deformed or wedged in the front clutch, that could be the result. I'm assuming that you or the dealer you took it to checked the compression.

My rear centerfuge clutch would not engage. It would grab and as soon as it loaded it would let go. Bike would hop but not move. New rear clutch, New Variator, New Carb, New Coil and Plug, New piston. Large amount of smoke at all times. I finally found the problem. The rear spark arrestor was fully plugged. Cleaned it and reinstalled. Bike ran and engaged great for about 30 seconds until the spark arrestor clogged again. The exhaust pipe/muffler is full of oil/debris from the spark arrestor being plugged. Need to remove exhaust pipe. Clean and reinstall.
Hope this helps someone else. Pull the spark arrestor out of the back of the tail pipe. See if it moves after.
