Sunl Hanma won't start after using remote
This unit started right up and was working fine until I used the alarm fob to shut it down (just practicing). Now I can't get it to spark. Is there a way to reset this so that my kids can ride it?
It is the 07 Hanma r5 Thank you |

greetings: had the same problem. get away from atv, hold remote start button down for 30 sec, don't use remote again. i went into house to do this so i would not be sending any signal to atv remote pick up.

also---the button to hold down is the remote unlock button----should look like an un-locked lock

I tried that and it didn't work. Why do you have to be away from the atv? That seems strange that you wouldn't want the receiver to pick up the unlock signal.
Thanks again |

unplug the remote box and wait 2 min. then plug it back in. It is under the seat.

So I am not a mechanic by any means, but wouldn't unplugging that battery for 2 minutes do the same thing? Either way it loses power right?
Thanks |

My local dealer use to sell those Sun L Hanma...They look good but sure do give the customers alot of touble.. Add to the fact that you cant get parts for Sun L products, you just bought yourself a DISPOSABLE ATV.
Good luck with your problem. |

I knew it was disposable when I bought it. I just was planning on at least a year or two. If I can get this thing to reset, I will be doing fine. Thanks for your concern.

Did you get this thing working?
I have a similar problem (no spark) and I suspect it is alarm system related. |
