LTZ 50 no power

I just bought a new ltz50. My boy has an Extreme and I am tired of repairing it all of the time so we went and bought a suzuki. Well im very disapointed in the performance of this little quad. It is powerless compaired to the extreme.had it to the dealer and they said that it was within specs. It cuts out really bad at half throttle and bogs really bad. is there any thing that i can add aftermarket to resolve this problem...............thanks ..Jason

My regards! I have an LTA50 (2 stroke version), 2 LT80's, and an LTZ400. Love my zukis, but dont have anything good to say about "Suzuki" as a company with regards to them backing there products. I could bore you with many stories! I have had to threaten legal ation on 2 local dealers, and spoke extensively to Suzuki Corp myself. They STINK!!!! You could go buy a new Chinese quad for $500, instead you spend $1700 & buy a big name like "Suzuki", and they treat you like dirt. I don't understand the mentality of Suzuki or its dealers. If I saw parents coming in and buying these lil kids quads, and like in my case, an adult quad at the same time, I'm thinkin "future sale here, for when lil one outgrows that thing".

This seems to be the only place for aftermarket parts. I'm too disappointed with the performance. My one son has an 07 Sportsman 90 and that thing goes anywhere, however my other son is only 7 and his frame is too small for a 90. The LTZ 50 fits him perfect and he is very good on it. But, the machine won't make it up a hill without a little push. I've taking the restrictor out but still...it has no bottom end. I just came back from the dealer yesterday and they have a 50 predator 2 stroke and said for my bike and 500 hundred more I could have it... I just spent 1800 on this thing and I do not really want to spend anymore on it. I've read (and the dealer said..) that the 50 predator has a lot more power. Being a 2 stroke I would tend to agree, but still I'm having issues with spending another 500 bucks plus my 5 month old LTZ 50 for it.

On a side note, I had to laugh on your statement about "tired of repairing it". I had a Kazumi 90 mini falcon. It had power, but it broke after every ride. I replaced the head twice, carb once and replaced ever nut/bolt on the machine with hardened steel bolts. The soft bolts, especially on the real axle, would actually bend and strip after one ride. On the plus side I spent 700 bucks and I made sure both of my sons enjoyed riding before I dished out nearly 3K for an atv. But I tell you, the 3k for the sportsman 90 was well worth it. It is spent more riding than me fixing it. Those chinese quads a great starters to ensure your child will like them. But, I actuallly enjoy riding more than in the garage fixing them.
