Default jetmoto 350

Ya know I have heard the talk up about the Taiwan wiring harness of the Jetmoto and the fact they are superior to the Chinese but I have had several problems with the wiring on my 250's. Now my 150's have not experienced any problems but I have no Hibeam on either and no brake light when the head light is on on the 150 (this problem I still need to look into). So unless Jet start buying Japanese or American built parts I'm not going to place them above Vbike or any other Chinese atv. And again I own 4 Jetmotos. Jetmoto better consider Vbike as a competitor because they are selling a 250 that is hundreds less then the Jet 250 and so far seems to have had fewer problems.
I know the Prototype has been jumped pretty hard and seems to be handling it but it was not built in China with Chinese thinner weaker metal and lower quality control. I highly doubt the finale Jet 350 will be so strong and again I'm going by my own experience with my 4 Jets.
I really wish Jets were the best built Chinese atv and perhaps someday they could be but they really need to step up the current quality and address the known problems and not shrug them off.

the problem with a $3000 350cc chinese quad is not the quad itself but whom you're trying to sell it to. when customer walks into a mic store he expects to see low prices, the only very first thing the customer usally looks at is the price, not the make nor the engine size, when he sees the sticker at $2995 i believe he will say to himself i can get a major brand for that price and walk out the door. jetmoto may think they're competeing with the used 350 or 400 but i think they're really be competeing with the major brands new 250's.

MSRP on the Raptor 350 is $4999. Completely stock. Heck, the Raptor 250 is $3999. For 2k less, I'd take a hard look at the Jetmoto.

outofline, too bad you didnt get a 150 and 250 from Vbike and Jetmoto. (1 from each) It would have been interesting to see how they held up and performed side by side. I think the Jetmoto's would end up being the better quad but who knows.

Maybe Vbike will send me one and we can find out....Yah right!!!LOL

I am concerned with what will end up here as production 350 too. I keep stressing to Eugene 2 things...

1) Chrome Moly Tubing

2) Good shock spring rate and damping control.

I would love to ride with a Vbike owner to compare, and I hate to say if I was to buy another Chinese 250 Sport it may just be a V! But I think the next atv I buy will be a Utility. I do like the looks of the Jet 250 Hunter over the others I have seen but we don't seem to get many reviews on here like we do the Sports!

I cant imagine you would be happy with the 8" tires and rims with the block style tread. That style came on my '04 Yamoto 150 and my Jetmoto 125. The no link rear suspension cant be all that impressive. I do like the handlebars and the gas cap looks cool, but looks to be on a steel gas tank, not so cool. 2008 V Bike 250 Sport Quad Definitely a nice looking copy of the Jetmoto 250, but doesnt seem like a adult quad to me with the cheesy 8" tires.

The Jet is $650.00 more there should be some significant differences.

I was thinking the Vbike should be even cheaper.

I gotta wondering if Vbike will be around in another year or so. How many different quads "brands" has Tim of Vbike sold by now? Which one will be next?

Jetmoto will still be selling Jetmotos in a year..

Here is an interesting Vbike that Tim has been selling for a while, Vbike V5 , priced at $1750. This one has the rear progresive link suspension like the Jet. It looks like the same 250 engine, but body, larger tire size, and suspension are changed.

Interestingly, Vbike has offfered both the V4S at $1250, and the V5 at $1750 for a while now. Havn't heard from the V5 owners yet. Again, price wins out.

It would be nice to compare (riding) a Jetmoto 250 and a Vbike 250 V5.
