Alpha Sport quad running problem
 

I have an Alpha Sport LG-90 quad that has a problem running. It starts and idles fine but when you give it gas it cuts out. I have done the following;
Replaced plug
Replaced coil assembly
Cleaned out carb
Cleaned out fuel line

Could there be something in the electrical system?

Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Does using a little choke help it any? If so turn the fuel screw (the one on the bottom of the carb thats almost impossible to get to) out 1/2 of a turn and try it again. I use a long thin pait of needle nose and get about 1/16th of a turn per grip. If it improves turn it out another 1/2 turn. If its a 2 stroke the air screw is on the side of the carb and will have the same effect.

I am hoping to connect with Harleygreyone. I am new to this site & I don't have any help for your issue, but back on 8/21/08 you wrote in with a problem on an Alpha Sport 90. I am having exactly the same problem, and I was wondering if you were ever able to find what the problem was. Mine is a 2001 Alpha Sport 90 lg, it has an electric choke & I was thinking maybe something was sticking with it. If you were able to find a fix to your problem I would appreciate any info. you would share.
