What irritates me is!
Those 6-packs work pretty good.

I went to premix and never regretted it. No fouled plugs, easier starts, less smoke. Only way to go imo.

Did you disable the injection? If so how did you go about it?
I have a Desert Cat 90 and it is doing the same thing. The difference with mine is that I am going to make them fix it under warranty. I am more than a little pissed that a brand new ATV is having this problem, especially since they haven't changed anything on it for a couple of years!

I did it the hard way. I ended up removing the fan, magneto, stator and worm gear to get to the drive gear on the oil pump. At the time, it was the best advice I could find. The worm gear is made of plastic and if the oil pump should freeze, I was worried about shavings in the stator. A LOT of people have left it in with no problem though so I don't recommend that method.

You can do it the easy way. Cut the oil lines leaving enough to stick a screw in them and wrap with black tape. Replace the throttle cable and rejet. I believe Hetrick Racing used to sell a block off kit (Rich Hetrick is a top notch guy imo). You might give him a call.

I put on a Keihin 20mm carb and K&N and pipe at that point. Very good investments imo if you want a little more performance.

there is a float in the oil tank, the lights to tell you the tank is getting low on oil,for some reason they programed the cdi box to turn the light on at high rpm...probably to get kids to slow down, with the restrictors unhooked it will rev to the preset rpm.
