Cool piston clearence

HI, My son has a 06 viper 70 2 cycle. Im wondering what the piston clearence in the cylinder should be, i am plaining to put a need piston in . It is a 47.6mm piston and the machine shop doesnt want to quess.. Hope someone can help. Thanks

The clearance should be .0025 to .0035
Does this shop usually do cylinder boring?

Hi. yes thay do all kinds. Automotive and recreation.
