LT80 KFX80 Questions...I've done some homework

Hello from Ohio.

I have (3) 04 lt80 , 2x 05 KFX 80's (all 120+psi). I've done all the normal mods; petcock, remove oil pump, maintained/cleaned carbs etc. Running 32:1 like Jack (LT80) has suggested. Yes we run stock air filter system as it is the only way to go

My kids are little 7 & 9 and started on crf50's with training wheels and LT50's but "WE" are now in to these LT80's. Wow are they sweet bikes for kiddos!

I'm getting in to clutch work...I'm all about removing 2 rollers and proper grease...I'm all for 180 grams on the rear shoes...But both of my kids still need the throttle limiter...

Questions I have...looking for moral support :)

Should I even think about removing rollers and 180g on the rear while kids are on limited throttle? Can it hurt anything? I'm confident that they'll be full throttle when the real spring comes around.

Someday I'll be interested in Moore Power if we can find a place to ride :)

Thoughts?

Well...I went 1/2 way and answered part of my question...removing 2 rollers is a significant difference...engages much quicker.

On to chains and roller guides? Again, throttle limited kids...what should I be running? They will soon be ready for full throttle...what to do? :)
