Describe the weak spark your seeing? Is this on a old plug? Is it the correct plug that suppose to be in it? Has it been sitting up for a period of time? Was it running when you got it and it just stopped? I have had people tell me it had no spark weak spark and it was nothing but worn rings.

I have a new plug and it and the old plug have the same spark it is not blue and is hard to see at times. The machine had always ran for short periods of time since it was new according to the original owner and he thought the plug was fouling out so he would replace plug and try to get it runnung agin with limited success. I have completely cleaned carb and compression is 130 to 150. i can give carb a shot of starting fluid and it still doesn't fire plug will be wet so i'm thinking the cdi unit may have issues but don't wan tto buy one if not needed

does anyone know what the AC voltage should be going to CDI from stator on 2 cycle 50cc Bush Hog ATV? Looks like this is a Chinese quad i'm only getting 80 volts while cranking and i don't have any spark. i unhooked wire to CDI and still have the 80 volts just to see if i had a wiring problem
