Is this an OEM Suzuki LT80 cylinder?
Picked up a 2001 LT80 cheap and it only had 30lbs compression, so I took a gamble and bought a $45 cylinder kit from Ebay. So far it is running good. (Keeping my fingers crossed!) Although this is my first post, you guys have helped me tremendously! I have read through several post and picked up little tricks here and there! Now my 6yr old daughter says that she wants to go faster and race.... So eventually I will get a ported cylinder. This is the cylinder that came off of the bike and it look similar to the "ZoomZoom" cylinder I got from Ebay. Can someone verify that if this is OEM Suzuki? Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum. Yes that is the factory cylinder. The Chinese topend kits aren't too bad, I have 2 on 4 of my lt/kfx 80's. However, you would want to use the factory for any motor port work. If you look on some post, you will find out where you can get the Moore power ur looking for.

Thanks LTGranddad, I wanted to verify that it was. So far the eBay/Chinese kit is doing good. Just do not use their gaskets or cylinder studs!! :thanks:

Welcome to the forums. :)
I agree, Suzuki cylinder. "Just do not use their gaskets or cylinder studs!! " I don't use those either. :D |
I also agree about gaskets, I did use base but used the original head gasket with no problems.

LTGranddad, I see you are from Tennessee. What part? I'm in Bristol near the race track.
