Well...if you think the carb & reeds are good then I'd do a compression test next...sometimes they run ok with low compression until the engine is put under load...

Not sure about the connector...I'd just direct wire if no luck

My guess would still be the carb, I never fit new jets as these seem to cause more problems than anything else on carburettors.

Normal spade connectors can be used instead of the block, but I recon that particular relay may be a standard car type, so it is possible a local auto electrician may have that type of block and connectors in stock.

So you think I should get a new carburator? Anyone tried them from wish.com or aliexpress? They looks just the original one but how is the quality?

Never tried one, you may end up with the same problems of jets and settings not quite right for the bike, why not try the old jets back in the carb? I have bought those cheap Chinese fuel taps for LT80s and, so far, so good, but the Run, Prime and Reserve markings are wrong on them.

I got this fuel tap from China. Looks just the same as the old one. I will try to put the old jets back. Any standard tuning on the needle and air/fuel-ratio?

there is no air screw. Only a idle adjustment.
I've had good luck with the ebay aftermarket carbs.
A compression test should be done. I think it'll be low.

I got the last parts delivered today. After dinner, I went right to it and did the final assembly. Filled up with fresh petrol and mounted a new sparkplug. Success! As soon as the petrol passed the fuelfilter and entered the carburator it started and idled very nice. New parts I have added to get it to run is:

*startermotor
*Fuelhoses
*Sparkplug
*Airfilter(s)
*Stripped the carburator and boiled all the pieces
*Bypassed the breaker which is under the right rear fender.

The rest of this weeks evenings I will spend going over everything and put it all together so maybe the kids finally can run on snow this weekend.

Thank you all for all the input and help along the way.

Did you ever confirm compression?
