2015 KFX50 questions
 

We just got a 2015 KFX50. One of my boys is not quite big enough for a TRX90 so this KFX50 is the perfect size, just not quite fast enough. I have a few questions and just want to get things straight. Been searching the forum for info on upgrades and removing limitations and it seems that intake and exhaust limiters were only on previous years. This 2015 KFX50 did not have a restrictor in the exhaust or intake. I did remove the collar on the clutch and that helped alot, but it needs more speed so I am ordering the front countershaft 1 tooth larger, but there is not enough adjustment to compensate so it will need a smaller rear, and that is what I am not able to find.

1. What year did Suzuki and Kawasaki stop being the same?
2. Is this 2015 KFX the same as the 2015 Arctic Cat and Kymco 50?
3. Does the CDI without rev limiter from a newer KFX90 still work as a way to eliminate the rev limiter?
4. Where can I buy a smaller rear sprocket?

1) Around 2005 I think.
2) They are Kymco's (which is good)
3) Don't know.
4)Hetrick Racing (.com) can get most anything.
5) As you see, these 4 stroke 50's are terribly slow. Prolly not a bunch to do about that.
