G'Day i have a Yamoto 200cc Quad and am having problems with the front suspension
 

and am having problems with the front suspension lower control arms carving into the rims when turning, the bottom ball joint seems to slip up and down???

The bottom ball joint is probably worn out. When they get worn to a certain point the ball slips out of the socket and that corner of the quad drops to the ground.

Wrong ball joint? What do you mean "slip up and down"? Is the ball joint shaft sliding where it goes through the hole in the steering knuckle?

wrong ball joint or you did not put the c clip in if it came with one properly and it fell out, or was not tightened properly
