Baja 90 atv weak spark, won't start

New here, hi all! We have a Baja 90 quad and it died suddenly on the kid last year. It has gas going to the carb which has been cleaned, gas going from carb to engine but the spark is weak, (new spark plug twice and wire twice) and it has compression. Replaced all wire connectors. We adjusted the valves. We can jump it from the solenoid and it just cranks but still won't start. At a loss as to what else to try. TYIA

Do a compression test to check exactly how much it has, much under 90psi and it needs a top end rebuild. You mention having to jump it from the solenoid, this indicates you have a wiring problem, sort it out, could be that an ignition wire has shorted/broken as well as the one in the start circuit. If it still won't run once these are checked and sorted, do the "help diagnose stator" sticky tests in the Chinese engines section of this forum.

Sorry for the misunderstanding but yes, we can jump it from the solenoid and get it to turn over but it won't start. It will also turn over with the start button but won't start. I was ruling out the solenoid as being the problem, at least I believe. Will check compression in the next few days to see where it's at. Then go to the "help diagnosing stator" after that. Thanks for the reply!
