Default Cdale Shock help please

I've been looking for a set of shocks for my raptor recently. I have been searching around for ohlins from the cdales but I've run into some confusion. I've heard that some of them are zps, some arent. Some are rebound and compression adjustable, and some arent. Now I know that the blaze and moto shocks have rezzies and the cannibal and speed/glamis shocks do not. I also know that later in the production runs they were releasing arvin and fox shocks on some models. I'm interested in a set of ohlins for my raptor but I'm confused as to what I really am looking at. Ideally a set of zps w/rez and fully adjustable is ideal, but my budget doesnt exactly yeild that kind of cash.

What I would like is maybe a quick rundown on the different ohlins that were put on the cdales and how good/bad they were/are. I was thinking about going the easy and cheap way and just getting a set of yfz stock shocks instead of trying to figure this out. Would a set of the stock yfz shocks be better or worse than the different ohlins that were released?

Thanks for your help.

Ok here goes All fx400, speeds, motos, blaze, glamis and some cannibals had ohlins piggyback fully adjustble (comp/rebound) on the rear. Some of the newer cannibal rears had fox remote rezzy fully adjustable rears.

Fronts. Only some cannibals came with arvin nonadjustable fronts in standard travel.
Fronts.only fx400 ,speeds ,glamis, and some cannibals came with nonadjustable standard travel ohlins

Fronts The blaze came with fully adjustable standard travel ohlins with double springs.
Fronts The moto came with fully adjustable long travel double spring ohlins.
None of the shocks are zero preload but can be converted.

All ohlins shocks can be rebuilt ,revalved and are all nitrogen charged.
The only crappy shocks are the arvins that came on some cannibals. They are easily identified by black bodies with silver or yellow springs.

The rear ohlins fit almost nothing out there that I know of because of the hiem joint mounting system on the bottom. Most quads have a fork.

The shocks that are in high demand are the blaze and moto because of thier adjustabilty.
The blaze ,cannibal, speed ,glamis, and fx400 fronts will fit on many quads like a 400ex ,z400,and posibly raptor. The moto shocks are 19" eye to eye and the standard shocks are 16 " eye to eye.

Very much appreciated wistech. I have a much better understanding of what I am looking at now.

Would a set of the cannibal/speed front ohlins w/o rez be a superior shock to the yfz stock setup?

Although the shock itself is probably as good as quality gets they are not adjustable which I think the yamaha shock is. I think the 450 yamaha shock is a different length and different leverage also so it would be very hard to tune.
The reason the speed shocks work so good on the hondas is the leverage and lengths are identical so they are a great shock compared to the factory pogos. I have not seen the raptor setup or measured it .
