I have looked a fair share and can't find anything that really says what the diffence is between the Moto, Cannibal, Speed, and Blaze. Not to mention that the spec. page for these ATV's aren't laid out the same and some contain info that others don't.
Is there any place that gives a detailed description of the similarities/differences between these models? Or do they know yet what the differences will be for sure? Thanks in advance. (Unfortunately I won't be buying one anytime soon (no money) but it would be nice to know anyway (I am nosey dang it.) :-) |
I would also like to know what is differant.
This is what I know/think The Cannibal is a FX 400 with a longer shifter right now (unless it has just been changed). It will soon have Arvin shocks steel wheels and some cheaper tires. I do not know if they are planning on putting the new "GP control" and 11,600 "soft" rev limiter (they are not on it now). MSRP: 6,995 The Speed is a Cannibal with: The new "GP control" 11,600 "soft" rev limiter Aluminum handle bars Attractive 2 tone seat with revised foam (I guess they are fixing the "hard" seat problem that we all hear about) New exhaust pipe and silencer for increased power Holeshot tires on aluminum rims (I think ITP) MSRP: 7,950 The Blaze 440 is a Speed with: Holeshot XC tires on beadlock wheels Fully adjustable front racing shocks with double rate springs (I think they will have piggy back rezzy very unsure) Hand guards Nerf bars Number plates MSRP:TBA The Moto 440 will be a Blaze with: Adjustable +1" to +4" axle +2" (each) A-arms "Zero pre-load" shocks (lowered ride height about 4") Holeshots MX tires MSRP:TBA |
Also the seat cover, Plastic, Head Light housings (I don't think the moto or blaze will have lights) handle bar grip (I am not shure) and bar pad. that is what i think and would like to know if anything I wrote is wrong or I missed stuff.

blaze is a cheaper version of the FX, it has cheaper shocks, steel wheels, crappier exhaust, ect, speed is the replacement for the FX and it just has different colors and efi mapping. the blaze is 440 and comes race ready for gncc right out of the box. the moto is like a blaze with longer a-arms and axle and is ready for moto x and flat track right outta the box. also the moto and blaze come with nerf bars.

blaze is a cheaper version of the FX, it has cheaper shocks, steel wheels, crappier exhaust, ect, I think the Blaze is a upgraded Fx if anything. It is setup to be a XC/woods quad and has better shocks than the FX. It does not have Steel wheels it has aluminum beadlock wheels and it has a "updated" exhaust for more power than the FX. Maby you were thinking of the Cannibal. If so than yes it will have cheaper shocks, they are going to be Arvin shocks, The only other quad that I know has Arvins shocks is the DS 650. It will have steel wheels and different tires. As far as I know, the exhaust is the same as Fx had. Right now (or as of last week I know) the Cannibal had the same Ohline shocks as the FX has (I think the same as the Speed) it also still has the aluminum wheels and Holeshot tires that the FX (and speed) had. speed is the replacement for the FX and it just has different colors and efi mapping. It does not just have different EFI mapping. It has a new ECU, It is the SAGEM MC1000 ECU More info on Optimum |
oops! yeah i mean tto say that about the cannible...sorry
