'bull destroys 400ex
#1
Lined it up yesterday with an ex and stomped him by 5 lengths over 150 yards! Buddy says it is the 70 lb weight advantage (he's kinda heavy) so we swap bikes. I take the holeshot by a length but the 'bull comes roaring back to win by 2 lengths. I'm hoping to do some raptor hunting this weekend.
This is the most thrilling quad. Did order some new grips though, with the rubber flange to the inside. My left thumb is scraped up by the kill switch and the right is bruised from the throttle housing.
I got back on my Warrior later and thought it felt like a mini! powered bike. hahahahahaha

Hey juggalo, your ex isn't that slow is it? I know it doesn't ooze performance like the cannibal but for the money I thought the ex was a nice bike. I am actually thinking of getting one which is why my tecate is for sale on ebay now. I love my green beast but it is a little high strung for the trails I ride on. Interested in a trade? Check out my website.

in a straight line the EX bores me. i guess i'm just used to the thrill my old quadracer gave me. through the woods i can fly tho. thats a DAMN nice tecate...i'd love to have one but i'm afraid i'm going to have to decline yoru offer for a trade. when i first got my ex i wanted to trade it away but not anymore ( unless its for a quadsport 400z or a NICE 88 or 89 250r). i'm racin it next summer and i think i'd rather be on an EX than a tecate for gncc. besides you don't want my EX i beat on it so hard i'm suprised it still works!

Hey Ryanstones, Just step out side and start calling.. here waptor, waptor, waptor, here waptor,waptor,waptor.. and trust me they will come. hee! hee!. You shouldn't have any problems unless you call one that has some mods. I haven't. I will warn you though If you ever do get behind one they will through crap at you that you will swear are bolders, they through monster roost. Happy Hunting.

Rynstones if you loosen the allen bolts on the kill switch and turn it up about 45 deg. and interlock it with the start switch you should have plenty of clearence. I had the same problem when I first rode mine, nearly wore a hole in my thumb knuckle, this trick worked great.

I actually moved my kill button down on the bar. Now my hand is slipping off the grip when landing off big air because the bar is bent down towards the inside. I just bought the Renthal grips with the ring around the middle. These look like they will work nicely. I'll let you guys know how it works out.
Did tipping the bars down some help with your grip?
