The other day I pulle my Speed out to prep it for the next GNCC (this weekend) and changed the handle bars to the tag t2's. After changing them I fired the machine up to warm it up and check the handle bar postition. When I shut the quad off so I chould change the oil the fuel pump continued to run. So I checked all the conections for a possible grounding and had no luck so I charged to battery hoping this would fix the problem. Result fuel pump still running (even with the key out)!! So I pulled to fuse and today I called to dealer. He called Cannondale and they said that they have had cases where the ECU was bad causing this problem. So he told me to bring the quad up and he'll install a new one. I dropped it off tonight and he told me he had the part in stock and would replace it tomorrow the quad would be ready for the race this weekend!!! I had problems/hits that something was wrong the last 2 races, but because of me not knowing a whole lot about this machine I had no clue that is was the reason. 2 races ago after the race was over the pump ran for a minute or so after I shut it off and the last race it died a mile from the finish line on the last lap and took 7 minutes to start back up. I was told that this problems more than likely where from the ECU not over heating or something else. I just want to post this in case others are having any similiar problems. By the way mine is #161. I'll let anyone know if the final solution if it differ form what is posted and I'll also post my race results from this next national as soon as I can.
