Unlike the others the c-dale motor was designed to run in a quad. The CR motor will not make a full season of quad racing. Plus there is not enough flywheel. By the time you spend a ton to get a quad set up you could have had on already running and sorted out. The C-dale motor is the bike motor.

daimon1054- All of my friends with cr450's and yz426's have gone all season without any problems with there motor. Thats including 8 (soon to be 9) MX GNC races and 6 TT GNC races without any motor problems.
I still think the Moto 440 is the way to go if not for it being an awesome quad than for what Cannondale is doing for the sport of quad racing.

MrP, you hit the nail on the head. You can have all the power in the world, but if you aren't experienced enough to utilize all that power, it's useless on a track. I would certainly do suspension work first for track use. You will turn quicker lap times with proper suspension set up than having a faster motor.
