At Last! A definitive answer about Cannondale's future!

They gave me a price of $750 for the package, that's all they have right now. It includes: front and rear plastic, aluminum gas tank cover, radiator shrouds, radiator guard, handlebar clamp with key switch relocation, and brackets to mount your headlights on the front shock mounts. At first it sounds like alot of money, but look at all you get.

Glad to hear you guys have some light at the end of the tunnel now. The worst part about a deal like this is the not knowing anything part. I hope it works out for you guys, it helps all of us out to have another manufacturer to compete with. Especially one as inovative as Cannondale.

That totaly rocks! I'm really happy for you guys and it may mean that one day will be going Cannondale after all. I will say one thing though anyone who has the cash laying around better go out and grab one of these Dales selling for next to nothing. I don't know if I seen it her or not but here is a link: http://www.worldofpowersports.com/cannondale/

That makes sense to me, I talked to John Arens of Arens Brothers. They make the Steeting stem and A-arms for the Cannondale line. He was talking about some one from the San Diego Area about two weeks ago.
I hope this goes though as I've been holding off on spending money on mine for now.

Just remember that there is a bidding process that takes place in March, and it must be approved by the bankruptcy court. SO whoever the high bidder is (approved by the bankruptcy court) they walk away with the company.
Recently Schwinn/GT went up for a similiar bankruptcy auction, everyone thought Huffy would walk away with the company. They didnt, Direct Focus, now called Nautilus Group, and Pacific (who specializes in selling Chinese bikes to WalMart, were high bidder. Nautilus group took Schwinn Fitness, Pacific took GT and Schwinn bicycles.
Nothing here will suprise me. Hope it all works out best for us all.

George I was thinking the same thing, I really would like to see the hi bidder be a American company that will keep American people working.
I can't see how were suppose to get out of this economic slump if the middle class doesn't have good job, like I said before about Wal Mart being the biggest employer in PA, come on what kind of money can you make at Wal Mart?
I still think it's a good idea to have a rally at the plant the day of the auction.
I heard that Maytay is also going to be shutting down it's plant and moving it over sea's .
Will we have to wait until Harley move out of this country before we say enough is enough? Oh I did here Harley has a plant in Barzil do you no if this is true George?
Did you get my E-Mail
Thanks
