Interestingly enough, Glenn Beck (the crackpot as you describe him) used to be on CNN saying the same things. I always wondered why he was on CNN or why they let him be given their left media slant on things. Another horrible side effect (to liberals and progressives) is that books about the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, the Bill of Rights, etc. are flying off bookstore shelves at a best seller rate. If that's the main by product of what he's espousing I'm all for it. I don't think enough people know what the Founders meant by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The more who understand these writings the better for the country. It has survived for almost 250 years without being overthrown.

If we wanted to help cut the deficit we should dissolve Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. The last I checked they were in the hole for $560 billion.

Unless they come up with a real solution to the immigration problem down here, it's gonna be nacho cheese.

let's see, the dems ain't gonna fix immigration reform because they love giving out the handouts(welfare and other things) to people. then they make sure a "community organizer" is on hand to assist ACORN, or whatever they call themselves now, to ensure the "people" are registered to vote dem. what a vicious cycle. WELL, this should be a November to Remember. to vote for today's democrat goes against a lot of what this country was founded on, morals. because socialism has no morals.

How quickly we forget Bush's attempts to woo the spanish vote. He did a good job too. It's this "tea bagger" mentality that's destroyed years of work by Bush to bring the spanish to the right. Nice job loosing a critical voting sector going into the future. I guess that's what happens when nobody is at the helm.

That was only a couple years ago, if that, that he moved to Fixed News. He wasn't as psychotic on CNN, and certainly not this crazy crap he spews lately. Definitely not the same things. Certainly he was right wing, but nothing like since he's moved to FNC. Good one about Planet of the Apes he came up with. That'll win him a lot of points with the general public and his sponsors. Not sure, but I've heard his big sponsors (Walmart, Best Buy, etc.) are dropping like flies due to his antics.

I don't care what he says really.....He's not talking to me, or anybody that's remotely independent. He's simply preaching to his choir. Some people just watch his show as comedy. It is pretty funny sometimes to watch the entertainment.

You can't seriously blame this on Obama. Republicans were in control the last eight (8) year cycle.

-------------

How do we revert back to Freddie Mac and Glenn Beck all the time. Let's not talk about either of them for a couple months.

Republicans hated Regan when he was in office. Huge national debt and spending. But that was Republican spending....and that's OK spending today. 30 years later, he's the great Ronald Regan that could do no wrong. I liked him though. President Bush Sr. said he was a real stranger. Very difficult to talk to and treated him like a child. There was this story that Bush and whole crew of Regan aids bought him this really nice something (can't remember what) that was custom made by an artist. May have been cowboy boots?. When he was given the gift at his X year birthday party, he opened it, then looked at them (apparently didn't like what was inside), and just walked away saying nothing to Bush or the aids. Bush was not pleased. I guess they spend weeks dealing with the making of this particular item and thought it would be really special. Apparently not. -That was just one story I remember Bush telling about how difficult he was to communicate with. No real bearing on anything.....
