Well not so fast there, first off he decided not to use people that have stopped applying for unemployment because their time limit ran out. Secondly he does not allow people to be counted that were forced to take early retirement because they could not find a job. He also does not count people that were forced to take minimum wage jobs because their was no other work availiable, we call them under employed. His administration has chosen to use only the numbers of "new" applicants applying for unemployment to come up with his figures. When todays figures are compared to what we used 15-20 yrs back, the comparable unemployment figures actually come out to around 7-8% We also have to consider that 47% of the US population derive their income from the government whether local or federal and this is an all time high from any point in history. This leaves 53% of the total population working to support the 47%.....how long does one think this is going to last? Need to search for real numbers and quite watching news media, which by the way has much of Obama's cabinet members married to the heads of the national news media sources.

 

He just changed the way things were done in order to skew the numbers.
